Dear Hans

We plan on having an active and a passive transmitter. An active transmitter
will work for up to a week until batteries run out. Its frequency is not set
as of yet. The passive transmitter is basically the use of reflective surface
of the 24K plated surface of the ball. The non linear laser tracking will
monitor the position for the rest of the voyage.

I read with interest about the golfball in space. At the end of the various
stories you mention that the golfbal is fitted with transmitters. Can you
please supply more information about the transmitters, transmission content
and the frequency to be used.
