2004 West Coast Space Symposium - Final Agenda

2004 West Coast Space Symposium

Project Oscar, Northern California's premiere amateur satellite technology
association, in conjunction with the College of San Mateo, will hold the
first annual 2004 West Coast Space Symposium on Saturday, April 24, 2004 on
the campus of the College of San Mateo. The Symposium will provide valuable
information on wide range of topics including tracking and using amateur
satellites, their construction, and the supporting technology, and is
targeted for beginners and experienced operators alike. 

The day will begin at 8:00am with Antenna Measurement and Test range held
starting at 8:00 am, to demonstrate performance and measurement techniques
for 13cm and 70cm antennas. Technical sessions will begin at 10:00 am.

 Project Eagle CanBus and Sensors, Alan Bloom, N1AL 

3:15 - 3:45 
 Small satellites history and future directions, Cliff Buttschardt, K7RR 

3:45 - 4:15 
 Antenna Measurement and range results, Rick Fletcher, KG6IAL 

4:15 - 5:00 
 Ask the Experts Roundtable All 

An informal dinner, at The Vans , a San Mateo tradition, at 7:30. 

The cost of the Symposium and lunch is $10, $5 for students. Any remaining
proceeds will be donated to the Project Echo launch fund.
