Argh.  Finished tuning up a nice dual band J-pole antenna
and shoved it up inside its PVC housing.  Yuk.  I knew I
would have to re-tweak it for the change in dialectric
but I never thought it was 10 to 12%!

Do you think J-poles work well for omni satellite?   I used to use a dual band colinear
vertical, and I though it worked quite well.  Once I got beams up though, there 
was no turning back.
