[amsat-bb] Mode L question

Could anyone that was on Mode L on 13 give me a comparison.  The following
did just fine there....

I'll be using the same thing on once I get my Icom 910 as an exciter...

I'll have 35 watts up the pipe to the same homebrew 23 element loop yagi 
that I'm
guessing at ~17 db...the feed line will be a little shorter, about 1.5 db 
worth...

Will I need more antenna??
