Anyone in MARS who has room in San Francisco for a big UHF XMTR might
check out this boat anchor. I am working to try to build a MARS satellite
which will have a UHF uplink and 24-26 MHz downlink. Players will need a
225-400 MHz miltary UHF AM transwmitter for the uplink.
I absolutely make no promises whether we will ever get approval for this
satleliite, but if you operate mars and stumble across an old UHF
transmitter, it might be worth hanging onto for a year or so to see how
far we get.

Hello to the group
I have , free for the taking , a TDZ xmtr , 225 - 400 mcs , 30 watts
out . It is HEAVY , at least 500 pounds +. Does come apart in drawer form
but still it's heavy. For pick up only here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thanks
