The Yaesu FT-736R is a decent rig but is no longer in production and may 
soon be logistically unsupportable if it fails.
Time to move it out of your shack, or keep it if has the 222 MHz module, 
since no current  radio has 222 MHz. sideband.

Consider the Yaesu FT-847. I really like mine for the satellites. I 
originally got mine for my mobile rig with the ATAS tunable antenna.
But it never left the shack after I found how easy it was to operate the 
satellites.

The ICOM IC910H is another good rig. I use mine mostly for terrestrial 
work and I can drive the legal limit PA nicely on 2M.
Or It is a nice 2M liaison rig for the 10 GHz contest.
