Yes, Gary, I think you can substitute a 5400 control box for a 5600
box.  The differences are primarily that the AC starting capacitor is
in the box of the 5400 while the caps are in the motor assembly in the
5600.  This means that the test will be conducted with twice the rated
capacity.  Since many starting problems are traced to a faulty capacitor
this might be a good test realizing this fact.  Other differences are
the azimuth rotor has limit switches in the KR-600X while the KR-400
does not, but this does not affect your temporary test.   Cliff K7RR
