I use a 40mhz TCXO that somebody gave me. Has an SMA output connector.
Took a piece of rigid coax and turned it into a 2.4GHZ groundplane.
Have to carry it a block and a half down the street to get the signal
low enough to do any meaningful antenna/preamp comparisons.
