Re: Mode-S signal source from a 6 meter TX and a clipping diode?

Some good design tips for such a multiplier are in the International
Microwave Handbook - the design in that case was a 1.2ghz weak signal
source.  Easier than the 6m rig would be to get hold of a 24mhz or 
100mhz computer clock oscillator and tie the output to a MMIC such
as a MAR6 or similar.  The combination of the harmonic rich output
of the oscillator driving the MMIC hard will generate a nice comb
of frequencies - attach a quarter wave hunk of wire and away you
go.
