I have a pair of Advanced Receiver Research preamps models number:
MM144VDG and MM432VDG - With the TRS04VD sequencer for each.
Has anyone had any practical, or any experience using these devices;
especially in regards to "failsafing against preamp failure".
I am using these devices with older Icom gear (IC-251A and IC-451A),
and certain situations can arise where where the preamp can be damaged:
such as when using the manual switch to go from receive to transmit- for
all modes- example: CW can only be used with the use of the manual
switch, or VOX for transmitting.
If anyone might have any experience with using these devices, safing
against any accidental keying situation, or reference, it would be greatly
appreciated.
