[amsat-bb] RE: HF DIGITAL SSTV on SATELLITE'S....

It's interesting to note that the people on the MMSSTV list say that this
program runs best on a 2 GHz machine or better. They also recommend XPpro or
Win2K as the operating system. They state that it may not be totally
backwards compatible with Win98/ME/95.

They say that on slower machines to turn off the scope display and only run
this program. Turn off as much as you can otherwise. One person even
suggested making the minimum number of mouse movements to conserve CPU
usage. He also disconnected his internet usage during program execution.

The author of the software stated that this is very early code and really
needs to be refined.

There is also a new Digital SSTV group started on Yahoo if you are
interested in joining.
