Thanks Jerry.  I was going to try and work you too the other night.  Murphy 
was working hard making me go out in to the snow and pull the preamp off 
the tower but he gave me a break when I put the pre-amp on the bench and 
found  it  was working fine.  I really didn't want to have to replace a 
$219 pre-amp.  I discovered the problem was a poor N connector on the 9913 
near the rig.  How hard do you think it would be to replace the SO-239's on 
the TS-2000 with N connectors?  Have you looked inside the rig?
