[amsat-bb] new 5.8ghz cordless phones

Just got the Sunday paper with all the flyers from all the stores. Circuit City 
has an ad on the last page of their circular for the Vtech 5.8GHz cordless 
phone. Says '... 5.8GHz sets the new standard for cordless conversation..."

Looks like if everyone went to 5.8GHz our AO-40 reception would be free and 
clear. The model is the Vtech VT5831 which expands to a total of 6 handsets 
with the additional handset VT5820. They show it for $179.99 (base and one 
phone), the additonal phones are $79.99 each.
