What I have heard sounds like random CW. I recorded RS-20's beacon in .WAV
format and then used MIXW to try and analyze it - I see tones in the 500 to 700
hertz range - my recording could have changed the frequency though - perhaps
someone with some experience could enlighten me if this could change the
frequency - I have the equipment to test it, I'm just too lazy to hook it all up
to see.

If this is true....
I have an old Tandy micro10 color computer with
the cassette and cable and I still have about 50 cassette
tapes SO if I hook my ft-847 audio up to the Micro10
cassette audio in put of the computer and as the RS-20
Sat passes I could press C-load on the computer and see
what the Sat is realy sending.????????????????
