RE: kc tracker and XP

i have been using windows xp and have no problems with it. have the home 
version installed on w5bts' computer and i have the professional version on 
mine. anything that i used to run in dos mode, still runs. however, the stuborn 
programs, you have to fix. 

you most likely have an icon that you use to start it. if so, right click on 
the icon. click on properties. then select compatibility tab. click on 'run 
this program in compatibility mode for:' and then select from the pull down, 
windows 95. you can also select 640x480 or 256 colors if the higher resolutions 
are blowing it up. but the compatibility issue is most likely the problem as 
windows xp is 32 bit and the older versions of windows were 16 bit.
