PROPOSED QUESTIONS FROM HARROGATE LADIES’ COLLEGE PUPILS TO ASTRONAUTS
ABOARD THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION :

1. How heavy do you feel on take off for the Space Station?
2. How does it feel to sleep in zero gravity and what stops you from
floating around?
3. If you had no clocks, what would give you a sense of time whilst in
orbit?

1. What are the best and worst parts of being an astronaut?
2. What was the first thing you noticed when you last returned from space to
earth?
3. Is there any real concept of ‘up’ and ‘down’ whilst on the Space Station?

compared to on Earth?
2. What medical provisions are there on the Space Station for sick
Astronauts?
3. Do you have any plants or animals on the Space Station?
