Re: RS-12/13 Update

Roger there are some wrong frequencies that have been published for these
sats. Last time Mode T popped up the same wrong freqs were being passed
around. RS13 is the package that is in mode T right now, and has a downlink
of 145.860 to 900, not 960 to 146.000. The uplink for RS13 listed for Mode T
is correct. I did not think to check the 10 meter downlink for RS13. Mode KT
is probably an unlikely possibility, esp with both packages on at the same
time.

I worked Brent, VE5SWL this evening with excellent signals both ways. Mode T
is awesomely strong, but unfortunately there are many ops who used Mode A
who will not be on due to their license class. I think AMSAT members would
be better served by a LEO with a 2 meter uplink, and a dual 10m and 70cm
downlink than by another repeater in the sky. Different rant though.
