Stick Valves Etc.

I just read Dick Jansson's article regarding P3D thermal considerations
in the October 1998 AMSAT proceedings. In that article he mentions that
the N2O4 oxidizer freezes at ~-12C and that heating resistors were added
to all of the tanks to compensate. Is it possible that the piping and
valves are located such that their temperature is low enough for a
freeze blockage? And therefore by orienting the satellite to raise
temperature could free up a stuck valve.

On another thought, what are the potentials for a heat pipe leak, and
how effective are the heatpipes expected to be during spin mode?
